24 January Premiere of 'Hayedeh legendary Persian diva' in Amsterdam (Griffioen).
The last two months Mostafa Heravi has been working with Pejman Akbarzadeh on the first documentary ever made about the Iranian diva singer Hayedeh (1942-1990).

Since November 8th an international exhibition opened in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam on Erasmus: 'Erasmus in beeld'. This famous scholar and humanist lived in the 16th century. In the beautifully designed exhibition paintings from all over the world can be seen, like portraits from the Louvre (Paris) and Kunstmuseum Basel. Also a new authentic portrait of Erasmus from the workshop of Hans Holbein is presented. Mostafa was asked to make a documentary on the discovery and research of this painting.

Mostafa worked three weeks on this film, in which experts tell about the painting, its art historical fundaments and technical research that has been done. The film will only be shown in the museum and until the end date of the exhibition (February 8th, 2009).

During the Beijing Olympic games a selection of world one minutes will be shown at the Beijing Today Art Museum. Heravi's "Soldier" has been selected and will be projected.

AANKONDIGING: tentoonstelling Tent Academy Awards 2007 in Ministerie OC&W
Op donderdag 17 januari opent de tentoonstelling TENT. Academy Awards 2007 in de projectruimte van het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap Den Haag. Judith van Kranendonk, directeur directeur-generaal Cultuur en Media, opent om 16.00 uur de presentatie.
In het kader van meer aandacht voor talentontwikkeling in het onderwijs en de kunsten heeft TENT. op uitnodiging van het Ministerie van OC&W een tentoonstelling van de Tent Academy Awards ontwikkeld. Vijftien films van jonge audiovisuele kunstenaars worden geprojecteerd in een spectaculair trapeziumvormig object, ontworpen door vormgevingsbureau Ooze.
De TENT. Academy Awards biedt jonge kunstenaars een opstap naar een groter podium en publiek. Jaarlijks organiseert TENT., expositieruimte te Rotterdam, deze competitie voor audiovisueel talent. Een professionele jruy kiest uit een selectie inzendingen een winnaar. Daarna gaan de films en video's op tournee langs een aantal (inter) nationale festivals. De presentatie in het Ministerie van OC&W sluit de tour van de Tent Academy Awards 2007 af.
De tentoonstelling in de projectruimte van het Ministerie van OC&W is te zien vanaf 18 januari t/m 29 februari 2008 in de Hoftoren, Den Haag (entree aan de Oranje Buitensingel 25). Openingstijden: maandag t/m vrijdag 9:00 uur - 21:00 uur
